Australia’s Croatian community is thriving, thanks in large part to Ljubica’s 40 years of service to the Adelaide-based women’s organization, Hrvatska žena – Katarina Zrinska. Ljubica also played a key role in the formation of a women’s committee for the Melbourne Knights soccer club, which has fostered the development of great players such as Josip Šimunic and Mark Viduka.
