As a highly creative and world-renowned artist, Karen has helped talented Croatian art students receive much-needed recognition, and showcases Croatia to the world on numerous occasions. Karen’s highly-praised exhibition, “Deconstruction / Reconstruction” was shown in fifteen Croatian cities before it began its international tour. Deeply committed to her Croatian heritage, Karen volunteered her time on several occasions in the rebuilding of Croatia in the late 1990s.
