Goranka Horjan is one of the main protagonists in the preservation of Croatian cultural museum heritage and its promotion on a European and world scale. Thus far, we have not had such a profile at MHŽ. This is also borne out by her prestigious senior positions in this social segment as exemplified by her election to Chair in Kyoto (September 2019) to a three-year term to INTERCOM (International Committee on Museum Management) and having held the position of President of the International Jury for European Commission awards in the field of cultural heritage in the field of education, promotion and training (2016 – 2019) and President of the European Museum Forum – 2012-2017 Member of the Executive Board of the ICOM World Museum Organization – 2010-2016.
