Ana is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Process Engineering, Laboratory for Measurements, Automation and Control at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb.

She graduated in 2013 with a thesis entitled “Development of the Catechol Biotransformation Process in a Microreactor,” under the mentorship of Prof. Želimir Kurtanjek and Prof. Bruno Zelić. Her scientific research focuses on the application of mathematical modeling in biotechnological processes, with particular specialization in microreactor systems.

Ana has published 15 scientific journal articles, presented her work at 13 scientific conferences, and contributed to two book chapters.

In 2008, she received support from the Biotechnical Foundation of the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology. In 2013, she was awarded the prestigious “For Women in Science” scholarship, and in 2016, she received a silver medal for innovation at the 14th International Innovation Exhibition ARCA.

She is a married mother of two.

Ana je docentica na Zavodu za procesno inženjerstvo, u Laboratoriju za mjerenja, automatizaciju i regulaciju na Prehrambeno-biotehnološkom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Diplomirala je 2013. godine obranivši rad pod nazivom „Razvoj procesa biotransformacije katehola u mikroreaktoru“ pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Želimira Kurtanjeka i prof. dr. sc. Brune Zelića. Njezino znanstveno djelovanje usmjereno je na primjenu matematičkog modeliranja u biotehnološkim procesima, s posebnim naglaskom na procese u mikroreaktorima.

Autorica je 15 znanstvenih radova objavljenih u časopisima, sudjelovala je na 13 znanstvenih konferencija te je suautorica dvaju poglavlja u knjigama.

Godine 2008. dobila je potporu Biotehničke zaklade Prehrambeno-biotehnološkog fakulteta, 2013. stipendiju „Za žene u znanosti“, a 2016. srebrnu medalju za inovaciju na 14. međunarodnoj izložbi inovacija ARCA.

Udana je i majka dvoje djece.

Ana es profesora asistente en el Departamento de Ingeniería de Procesos, en el Laboratorio de Mediciones, Automatización y Regulación de la Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology de la University of Zagreb.

Se graduó en 2013 con la tesis titulada “Development of the Catechol Biotransformation Process in a Microreactor,” bajo la mentoría del Prof. Želimir Kurtanjek y el Prof. Bruno Zelić. Su investigación científica se centra en la aplicación del modelado matemático en procesos biotecnológicos, con especial enfoque en los sistemas de microreactores.

Ha publicado 15 artículos en revistas científicas, presentado su trabajo en 13 conferencias científicas y contribuido con dos capítulos de libros.

En 2008 recibió el apoyo de la Fundación Biotécnica de la Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology. En 2013 obtuvo la beca “For Women in Science”, y en 2016 recibió la medalla de plata a la innovación en la 14ª Exposición Internacional de Innovación ARCA.

Es madre de dos hijos.
