Delfa Kosić Papić
Delfa Papić was born in Osijek and currently resides in Salzburg. She is the first Croatian woman to stand as a candidate for the Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP).
She studied Communications at the Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences in Salzburg. Delfa previously served as President of the Croatian Media Association “Lijepa Naša” and as spokesperson for the Croatian Cultural and Artistic Association “Croatian Dream” in Salzburg.
In 2010, she was nominated for the prestigious Večernjakova domovnica award in the entertainment category. In 2009, she was recognized by the daily newspaper Kurir as one of the top three emerging high-potential talents.
Until 2014, she served as Director of the largest private education institute in Austria. She later entered politics, where she leads the committee for women’s affairs, advocating for the advancement and empowerment of women in society.
Delfa Papić rođena je u Osijeku, a danas živi u Salzburgu. Prva je Hrvatica koja se kandidirala na listi Austrijske narodne stranke (ÖVP).
Diplomirala je komunikologiju na Fakultetu za kulturu i društvene znanosti u Salzburgu. Bila je predsjednica Hrvatske medijske udruge „Lijepa Naša“ te glasnogovornica Hrvatskog kulturno-umjetničkog društva „Croatian Dream“ u Salzburgu.
Godine 2010. nominirana je za prestižnu nagradu Večernjakova domovnica u kategoriji zabave, a 2009. dnevni list Kurir uvrstio ju je među tri najperspektivnija mlada talenta.
Do 2014. godine obnašala je dužnost direktorice najvećeg privatnog instituta za obrazovanje u Austriji. Nakon toga ulazi u politiku, gdje vodi odbor za pitanja žena te se zalaže za unapređenje položaja i osnaživanje žena u društvu.
Delfa Papić nació en Osijek y actualmente reside en Salzburgo. Es la primera mujer croata en presentarse como candidata por el Partido Popular Austriaco (ÖVP).
Estudió Comunicación en la Facultad de Cultura y Ciencias Sociales de Salzburgo. Fue presidenta de la Asociación de Medios Croata “Lijepa Naša” y portavoz de la Asociación Cultural y Artística Croata “Croatian Dream” en Salzburgo.
En 2010 fue nominada al prestigioso premio Večernjakova domovnica en la categoría de entretenimiento. En 2009, el diario Kurir la reconoció como una de las tres jóvenes promesas de alto potencial.
Hasta 2014 se desempeñó como directora del instituto privado de educación más grande de Austria. Posteriormente ingresó en la política, donde lidera el comité de asuntos de la mujer y promueve el avance y empoderamiento de las mujeres en la sociedad.
