Croatian Women’s Network™/Mreža Hrvatskih Žena Reveals the 2024 Croatian Women of Influence Award and Future Leader Award Winners

Prestigious awards recognizes 26 leaders from 11 countries

Buenos Aires, Argentina, & Zagreb, Republic Croatia, November 28, 2023 – Croatian Women’s Network™/Mreža Hrvatskih Žena has revealed the 2 winners of the coveted Croatian Women of Influence Award and the two winners of the Future Leader Award which will be conferred at a gala event on International Women’s Day Friday, March 8 th, 2024 in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia. This year’s announcement is being made from Buenos Aires, Argentina at the start of the first-ever in-person gathering of CROactivas®, the Croatian Women’s Network of Latin America.

“We extend our deepest congratulations to the incoming winners, to the nominees and our appreciation to all those who took the time to nominate a women of distinction,” said Caroline Spivak, founder, Croatian Women’s Network™/Mreža Hrvatskih Žena and inceptor of the Croatian Women of Influence Awards and the Future Leader Awards. “This year we received a record number of 156 nominations from 15 countries. For the first time in the history of the awards, we received 15 nominations from current CWoI and Future Leader award holders.

“Growing international interest in the award and the Network validates the significance placed on it and reinforces our purpose as we continue to connect, celebrate, champion and recognize the accomplishments of Croatian women the world over,” noted Spivak.

Winners were drawn from more than 156 nominations representing 15 countries. The 2024 class of laureates come from a total of 11 countries: Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, United Kingdom and the United States of America. This brings the overall number of award winners to 165 selected from more than 550 nominations since the awards inception in 2016.

The Croatian Women of Influence Award recognizes leadership, innovation and community impact of Croatian women and will be conferred to 24 distinguished women from the Republic of Croatia and the vast Croatian diaspora. The Future Leader Award, which recognizes enterprising young woman between the ages of 16 to 25 who demonstrate extraordinary talent and leadership, will be conferred two emerging leaders from Croatia.
