Silvija Kolar Fodor is an author, bio-gardener and activist. As a great nature lover, she is dedicated to education about living in harmony with nature. She is the author of the book Gardening in Harmony with Nature and the educational portal www.biovrt.com. Silvija is a frequent columnist for numerous magazines and portals. She is the President of the association, Biogarden – in harmony with nature. From this platform she provides education and designs and manages various projects that launch school gardens in Medjimurje county introducing educational programs on bio-cultivation, sustainable development and life in harmony with nature in elementary schools across the Republic of Croatia. Silvija is the guardian of many ancient varieties of seed and protects them from extinction for future generations. She continually introduces new ideas and techniques for organic farming on hers property and regularly writes and inspires numerous followers on social networks.
