Prof. Tamara Gazdić-Alerić, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Zagreb. She holds a PhD in humanities (linguistics). She worked at the Croatian Radiotelevision in the newsroom covering important news and political events, Education and Youth Department as well as in Culture, Science and Religion Department. She currently works at the Department of Croatian Language and Literature, Stage and Media Culture at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb. She served as a Vice-Dean for Science, Art and International Relations at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb and is a member of Matica Hrvatska (Matrix Croatica) and Croatian Philological Association, International Association of Applied Linguistics and the American Educational Research Association.
