Mr. Sc. Daria Krstičević
Following a distinguished diplomatic career as Croatia’s ambassador to Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Spain, and after serving as Special Advisor for International Law at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Krstičević has, since May 2012, held the position of President of the Office of the Council for the Government of the Republic of Croatia for Croatians living outside of Croatia.
The Council serves as the central executive body responsible for managing Croatia’s relationship with its diaspora. The Office operates under a strategic mandate to preserve and strengthen cultural, economic, and social ties between the Republic of Croatia and Croatians worldwide.
Nakon istaknute diplomatske karijere tijekom koje je obnašala dužnost veleposlanice Republike Hrvatske u Austriji, Bosni i Hercegovini i Španjolskoj, te nakon što je bila posebna savjetnica za međunarodno pravo pri Hrvatskoj gospodarskoj komori, gđa Krstičević od svibnja 2012. godine obnaša dužnost predsjednice Ureda Vijeća Vlade Republike Hrvatske za Hrvate izvan Republike Hrvatske.
Vijeće predstavlja središnje izvršno tijelo zaduženo za upravljanje odnosima Republike Hrvatske s hrvatskim iseljeništvom. Rad Ureda temelji se na strategiji očuvanja i jačanja kulturnih, gospodarskih i društvenih veza između Republike Hrvatske i Hrvata diljem svijeta.
Tras una distinguida carrera diplomática como embajadora de Croacia en Austria, Bosnia y Herzegovina y España, y luego de desempeñarse como Asesora Especial en Derecho Internacional en la Croatian Chamber of Commerce, la Sra. Krstičević ocupa desde mayo de 2012 el cargo de Presidenta de la Office of the Council for the Government of the Republic of Croatia for Croatians living outside of Croatia.
El Consejo actúa como órgano ejecutivo central encargado de gestionar la relación de Croacia con su diáspora. La Oficina se rige por una estrategia orientada a preservar y fortalecer los vínculos culturales, económicos y sociales entre la República de Croacia y los croatas en todo el mundo.
