Kaja Pavlinić is currently pursuing her BA in Computer Science at the University of Zagreb, where her interests extend to international relations and diplomacy. She has competed in numerous computer science competitions. Kaja is an US Department of State Exchange Alumni and actively participates in many conferences and managing her own projects. She is founder of the Tinja. Tinja is an online platform for simple and efficient matching of solar panel installers and interested users who want to install solar panels at their property. The aim of the platform is to encourage exploitation of renewable sources of energy, primarily solar energy, since by the 2020, Croatia will be forced to pay high penalties for not having implemented sufficient infrastructure that uses renewable sources of energy. The start up was recently awarded the SEUA award.
