Celebrating the Power of Croatian Women: Nominations Now Open for 2026 CWoI Awards
CWN/MHŽ will honour trailblazing leaders and rising young stars at its International Women’s Day gala in Zagreb
Toronto, ON, Canada & Zagreb, Republic of Croatia, September 11, 2025 – Croatian Women’s Network™/Mreža Hrvatskih Žena/ La Red de Mujeres Croatas is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Croatian Women of Influence Awards and Future Leaders Awards, which will be conferred at its gala celebration on International Women’s Day, Sunday, March 8th, 2026 in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia as the organization marks 10 years of CWoI Awards.
“We are proud to mark a decade of connecting, celebrating, and championing Croatian women globally,” said Caroline Spivak, founder of the Croatian Women’s Network™. “These awards are about shining a spotlight on the extraordinary Croatian women who are shaping our communities and our world, we’re seeking nominations for women whose creativity, leadership, and innovation are driving meaningful change – whether they’re athletes or activists, corporate executives or emerging entrepreneurs. These are the role models who embody resilience, vision, and influence and we’d like to honour them.”
The Croatian Women of Influence Award recognizes leadership, innovation and community impact of Croatian women. A companion Future Leader award recognizes enterprising young woman between the ages of 16 to 25 who demonstrate extraordinary leadership, including the capacity to inspire and lead others, and a commitment to learn from others, innovation through the work they are doing and a commitment to giving back to communities and their industry through involvement in associations, volunteering and charity work.
“It is a privilege to showcase the achievements of the most inspiring Croatian women worldwide,” added Spivak. “Through these awards, we celebrate their accomplishments and encourage the next generation of leaders to dream bigger and achieve more.”

Awards will be presented at a gala event celebrating International Women’s Day, on Sunday, March 8, 2026. This will follow CWN/MHŽ’s signature annual conference: Advancing Women, Advancing Economies. Realize the Potential! being held on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Zagreb.
